Hi, I'm Ruby! I'm a 6-year-old young lady with super soft fur that I maintain regularly! I'm black from my tail right to the tip of my nose and whiskers, and despite these fabulous traits I don't shed much. I've got artistic orange markings throughout, which makes me truly one-of-a-kind, including on my paw - earning me the nickname 'orange paw'.


 



I'm not what you would call a 'lap cat' - I prefer to find my own creative sleeping areas and let you have a good night's rest! I will come to your bedside in the morning, purring up a storm in exchange for some good morning head scratches. I'll sit beside you as you drink your coffee and read the paper. I love making the rounds of each open window in the house; this catches me up on the outside 'news'. A simple piece of string can keep me entertained for hours! I do love to play and make great use of my scratch-post.


 




I prefer to be the only cat in a house with adults or older children.


Even more than most cats, I love my independence, but never like to be far from my humans. I don't need a lot of space, in fact I've heard great things about this 'tiny house movement'... 

I use my litter box like a boss, don't meow much and love the quiet life as an indoor cat!
